Introduction
The Commonwealth ID is a Soul Bound Token (SBT), which users can mint by consuming $4 tokens. Only those with a Commonwealth ID can stake and generate ve4.
The Commonwealth ID serves as proof of Commonwealth membership — an SBT that is applied to enhance veToken rewards and accumulate Commonwealth contribution points during veToken staking.
There are 7 levels of Commonwealth IDs, with different levels granting access to various levels of the DC. The Commonwealth ID also enhances the weight of $ve4, and the level determines the degree of enhancement.
Minting Fee Distribution
Commonwealth IDs’ minting fee distribution:
- 30% goes to the $ve4 staking pool
- 70% goes to the community DAO treasury
